HOUSING SUPPORT OFFICER, HOUSING FIRST
2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE | FULL-TIME, 3 YEAR FIXED-TERM CONTRACT
JOB PURPOSE:?To work as a part of a joint Intensive Case Management
Service to deliver a ?Housing First? approach to individuals who
are long term homeless with complex support needs throughout the
Western Region. There are two posts currently being recruited.
* Galway North / Mayo
* Galway East / Roscommon
ABOUT THE SERVICE:?The Housing First Service in Galway commenced in
**Apply on the website** in partnership with Galway City Council and
HSE. The Tenancy Sustainment part of the Housing First Service and is
being jointly provided by Galway Simon and COPE Galway. The programme
is now being expanded throughout counties Galway Mayo and Roscommon.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Qualification in social care, youth work, social work or related
discipline at degree level
* Minimum 2 years? experience working with marginalised groups
* Full driver?s licence
